Long time no update..I know.

David also surprised me with a new pet...Hamlet the Hamster! Love him to death! He is a black bear hamster. So cute and cuddly.

WELL, I AM MRS. KOHLHOFF NOW!!! DAVID AND I GOT MARRIED SATURDAY. IT WAS SUCH A BLAST BUT MAN AM I GLAD IT IS OVER WITH. WE LOVE BEING MARRIED AND BEING ABLE TO BE WITH EACH OTHER ALL THE TIME. DAVE HAS AN INTERVIEW WITH HUD. THE OFFICE THAT WILL BE INTERVIEWING HIM IS IN PHILIDELPHIA. I AM SO EXCITED! I'LL BE GETTING A SLIDESHOW PUT TOGETHER ON MY MYSPACE ACCOUNT SOON, BUT I'LL LET YA KNOW WHEN IT IS UP. I AM STILL WAITING ON PICS TO BE DEVELOPED.

Wow, today was an emotional day for me!

First, at church our pastor read his letter of resignation. He has been there over 13 years and he has been called by God to do full time military. So he will be the chaplain for Fort Leonardwood. But what I love about a small town like this is that Gary and his family will still be coming to our church. They are just gonna take some time off so that it gives our church time to find a new leader.

The second thing that got me teary eyed was the movie,  End of the Spear. It is definitly a tear jerker, but it is an excellent movie. David and I borrowed it from friends of ours, but I wouldn't mind having a copy of it myself.

Tonight is our church picnic out at Baptist Hill. Hopefully the bugs won't eat me up! Looking forward to good food.

Mom and dad took Kaitlyn to Branson today. I am starting to get the full affect from my parents that now that I am out on my own I am not invited to be apart of their lives as much. But oh well, they'll miss me and David if/when we move to Japan or Maryland.

Anyways, today is laundry day and I have a few more loads to do. Talk to ya later!

I had my wedding shower at church yesterday. What a blessing in friends David and I have. There was a huge turn-out and we got so many things we have needed. We got all of our kitchen complete with the exception of two things, a griddle and waffle maker. But we got a ton of tea towels and dish cloths, and we now have a total of 3 crockpots. The coolest gift that we got would have to the be Smoker. My dad has been looking at them and wanting to get one and I turn out to get one for the shower. He is pretty green right now. David and I are very thankful.

I can't wait for his parents to come in town. I miss them a lot! And I am excited to see friends and family members that I haven't seen since Christmas.

Well, I should go now. I have to finish up my laundry and then head back to the apartment.
